About the role

The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual who will analyze, design, and implement solutions that streamline and improve business processes. This role requires a unique blend of business analysis, process improvement, and hands-on technical implementation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the effort to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate these needs into clear technical specifications, designing solutions that leverage the best-fit tool—either BPLogix Process Director for robust, auditable workflows or Power Automate for agile, connector-based automations.
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Implement and develop optimized solutions by building sophisticated forms and approval workflows in Process Director and creating automated flows and integrations with Power Automate to connect disparate systems and services.
  • Lead a small team of process automation developers, to include teaching, mentoring, and general team guidance.
  • Report to the Process & Data Automation Supervisor with regular updates, recommendations, and performance metrics.
  • Manage and facilitate cross-functional teams, including contractors, AF/DOD personnel, and customers, to deliver business process automation projects on time.
  • Carefully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and successful outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in information technology, business, or similar degree.
  • 15 years of relevant experience in business analytics and/or business process automation.
  • Automation experience may be substituted with other relevant IT experiences.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with one or more workflow automation platforms, especially BPLogix Process Director and/or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Knowledge of and experience implementing Agile and/or Six Sigma lean methodologies.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining personnel and customer relationships.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Active DoD security clearance or able to obtain an Active DoD security clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage and facilitate projects with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within Government, Military, or large-scale environments.

Skills
