Job Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum efficiency and water conservation in irrigation systems
• Respond to emergency calls from property managers regarding floods, valve repairs, etc.
• Execute necessary irrigation repairs
• Participate in small enhancement projects requiring irrigation expertise
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and organization
• Conduct daily pre/post trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and longevity of trucks
• Coordinate property needs and follow up with DCPS management
• Evaluate winterization of each system
• Maintain quality control of work performed on sites
• Provide weekly property reports

Job Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in all aspects of landscaping including plant/tree identification and care
• Broad knowledge of irrigation
• Ability to arrive at work at a predetermined time
• Use of phone applications to monitor personal hours
• Standing/walking throughout the day and lifting up to 75 lbs
• Safe and precise operation of DCPS vehicles
• Respectful and open communication with property managers
• Precision in operating small handheld landscape machinery
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Eye for detail work
• Valid driver's license

Experience

• Irrigation: 2 years (Required)
