Irrigation Technician- Horticulture

Responsibilities

• Maintains and troubleshoots irrigation system
• Maintains sprinkler heads and valve boxes in regards to edging and leveling as required
• Repairs leaks as required
• Affords assistance with maintenance of pump station & fertigation system
• Affords assistance with other areas of course operations as needed
• Maintain irrigation inventory
• Other duties as assigned

Safety

• Performs job responsibilities and operates equipment according to the company safety and training programs.
• Utilizes personal protective equipment as trained and required.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Reports safety or hazard concerns to management.
• Reports any on the job injury to management.
• Takes personal responsibility for safety every day.
