About the role

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Service Technician to join our dynamic team at Hittle Landscaping. With over 50 years of service, we are the largest family-owned commercial landscaper in central Indiana. Our mission is to create stunning landscapes, support our team's professional growth, and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems
• Check for leaks, adjust sprinkler heads, and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues
• Replace damaged components and schedule irrigation based on water management needs
• Ensure efficient operation to provide optimal water distribution and client satisfaction
• Diagnose problems and communicate directly with clients to resolve concerns and enhance satisfaction
• Recommend upgrades and improvements to existing irrigation systems

Requirements

• Backflow Certification
• A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Solid experience with irrigation system maintenance and repairs
• A positive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong client communication abilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in irrigation system maintenance and repairs
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of irrigation systems
