Irrigation Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform spring start-ups and winterizations of assigned irrigation clients
• Repair damaged systems as requested by clients
• Be creative in accomplishing the work quickly and accurately
• Maintain and complete all necessary paperwork for billing and time sheets
• Complete necessary paperwork and computer data entry required for payroll and other needed data entry
• Maintain inventories of existing irrigation supplies
• Attend necessary meetings to discuss goals and needs
• Provide winter services per the instruction of the Winter Services Manager

Requirements

• Must have a strong interest and desire to work with irrigation systems
• A strong desire to learn and become back-flow certified desired
• Requires the ability to communicate well in both written and verbal
• Must be service oriented to meet/exceed customers’ needs
• Must have the ability to adapt to change quickly and efficiently
• Must be able to work in an efficient and organized manner independently
• Must have strong physical endurance as the position can be very labor intensive
