About the role

The Irrigation Pivot Technician is responsible for maintaining and operating irrigation systems in agricultural settings. This includes diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring efficient water usage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair irrigation system malfunctions
• Maintain irrigation equipment and supplies
• Ensure proper operation of irrigation systems to maximize efficiency
• Communicate with farmers to understand their needs and provide solutions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in irrigation maintenance or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Qualifications

• Knowledge of irrigation systems and components
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
