About the role
InterMountain Farmers Association, a regional agricultural cooperative, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Irrigation Pivot Technician at the IFA Country Store in Roosevelt, Utah.
Responsibilities
- Work on pivot repair and assembly for our customers
- Assist in pivot sales and quotes as needed
- Recommend pivot upgrades and repairs as needed
- Winterize pivots yearly
- Become Rienke certified and keep up on the yearly recertifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Multiple years of pivot experience preferred (i.e., set up, take down, running, and winterizing)
- Basic understanding of electrical work or an electrical certification
- Ability and desire to work outdoors and independently
- Ability to lift over 60 lbs routinely throughout the day
- Experience with heavy machinery
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in agricultural irrigation
