Irrigation Manager - Maintenance (49661)

Responsibilities

• In Maintenance:
  • Oversee multiple irrigation service teams and technicians as well as landscape enhancement crews.
  • Responsible for providing day-to-day operational scheduling and guidance for branch's irrigation needs and landscape enhancement projects.
  • Manage the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work.
  • Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plan for employees.
  • Train and support of irrigation and landscape enhancement team members, including proper operation of equipment, irrigation repair/service/maintenance techniques, planting techniques, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Perform hands-on work with the irrigation and/or landscape enhancement crews to meet work and scheduling demands as needed.
  • Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained, stored, and utilized.
  • Create estimates for time & materials needed on irrigation projects.
  • Maintain all required computer systems, including but not limited to timekeeping, job databases and service schedules for irrigation services and landscape enhancement projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients.
• In Install:
  • Oversee multiple irrigation installation teams and lead projects to completion.
  • Responsible for training and developing irrigation installation teams and providing day-to-day operational scheduling and guidance.
  • Manage all irrigation installations, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work.
  • Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plan for employees.
  • Manage training and support of irrigation team members, including proper operation of equipment, irrigation installation techniques, safety, and quality standards.
  • Order materials and monitor costs and deliveries.
  • Aid in creating estimates for time & materials needed on irrigation install projects.
  • Maintain job files for irrigation installation projects.
  • Attend job pre-walks and turn-over meetings.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients.
