About the role
The IronSpire Group at Crowe provides a collection of boutique services to America’s most affluent families, their entities, and investment and estate planning vehicles. Our multidisciplinary team delivers tailored strategies that navigate both domestic and cross-border tax challenges. We are seeking a Tax Manager with deep expertise in estate, gift, and trust tax planning and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level tax consulting, compliance, and controversy support for complex estate, gift, and trust matters affecting ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a focus on exceptional client service and technical excellence.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risk issues related to estate, gift, and trust tax engagements.
- Maintain full awareness and compliance with Crowe’s quality standards, methodologies, and policies.
- Contribute to the firm’s reputation through speaking engagements, authorship, and professional education efforts.
Qualifications
- Education & Credentials: CPA or JD required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in public accounting, law, or a family office environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in estate, gift, and trust taxation, including complex and cross-jurisdictional issues.
- Client Relationship Skills: Proven ability to proactively identify client needs, resolve challenges, and build long-term trusted relationships.
- Collaboration: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork and mentorship.
Pay
$95,500.00 - $195,400.00 per year.
Schedule
This role follows a hybrid work model for candidates located near a Crowe office. Candidates who are not within commuting distance of a Crowe office may be considered for a remote work arrangement, subject to business needs.
