Iron Foundry Operator - Core room S2 SH3

Career Overview

We are looking for an Iron Foundry Operator Core Room Specialist SK2 to join our team. This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location and specializes in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products.

Responsibilities

• Learn all operations of core machines, troubleshoot issues on all machines.
• Maintain and monitor sand and resin systems for all machines, also the amine gassing system and perform pattern changes.
• Clean up sand delivery system belts and mixer at the end of the shift.
• Learn and know all processes of the core making process.
• Truck cores to and from the HWS core conveyor and core boxes to and from the pattern shop.
• Must be PIV certified and LOTO certified.
• Perform any assigned tasks by supervision.
• Start times will be half hour before the normal start of shift to prepare for production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred.

Pay and Schedule

• The hourly rate for this position is $26.55.
• Shift: 3rd Shift, 9:30PM-6:18AM.
• Occasional mandatory overtime may be required as needed.
