IR Tech/Cardiovascular Tech-Vascular Lab FT

Responsibilities

• Assists in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures utilizing diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment.
• Utilizes sterile technique and maintains operational and anatomic knowledge of the cardiovascular system.
• Provides direct patient care to patients 18 years of age or older.
• Maintains appropriate and accurate data in the hemodynamic computer system.
• Assists the physician in the performance of all catheterization procedures in the roles of monitor, scrub, and circulate.

Requirements

• Registered Radiology Tech (ARRT) or RCIS credentials or CVT experience and BLS required.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Radiology Technology and one year of special procedures or cath lab experience required.
• IR Vascular experience preferred.
