About the Role
Under minimal supervision, you will perform basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician. This includes providing technical support for interventional radiographic examinations, assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining supplies and medications. You will produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs and rotate through advanced diagnostic radiology areas such as OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma. You will also assist practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under minimal supervision.
- Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations.
- Assess patient condition and operate imaging equipment.
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
- Rotate through advanced diagnostic radiology areas, including OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
- Assist practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma.
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program (required).
- Associate’s degree (preferred).
- 2-5 years of X-ray experience (required).
- 1-3 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience (preferred).
- ARRT (R) certification (required).
- VI or CI certification (preferred).
- BLS certification (required).
- State license, if required.
