About the role
LifeSci Advisors, a leading healthcare-focused investor relations firm in the U.S., is seeking an Investor Relations Communications Associate to support strategic communications and investor relations programs for public and pre-commercial biotech and medtech companies.
Responsibilities
- Draft and edit press releases, including corporate, regulatory, and earnings announcements.
- Support quarterly earnings processes, including conference call planning, script drafting, and Q&A preparation.
- Aid in developing investor relations plans and executing on key milestones.
- Deliver exceptional client service with strong responsiveness, professionalism, and follow-through.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, finance, communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of demonstrated relevant experience (investor relations, equity research, healthcare communications, consulting, etc.).
- Strong preference for prior Corporate Communications experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight timelines.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free materials.
- Working knowledge of capital markets and ability to interpret scientific and clinical data.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
