IQA Inspector Jr. - 2nd Shift

About the role

This position is responsible for the inspection of incoming commodities and sub-assemblies for conformance to applicable drawings and specifications. Parts for inspection include mechanical, chemical, printed material and potential bio-hazards components. Inspector should be proficient with the use coordinate measuring machine and have experience with interpretation of GD&T drawings. Conduct functional testing as required by component drawings and/or test instructions. Work in compliance to Abbott SH Procedures and cGMP guidelines. Interface with engineers on new product development, inspections and Non-conformance results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing as required by component drawings and/or test instructions.
• Interface with engineers on new product development, inspections and Non-conformance results.
• Perform routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures.
• Ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products.

Requirements

• Experience Level 0-2 years.
• A High School Diploma is required.

Skills
