IPS Specialist

About the role

Turn recovery into real-world success. Help people build careers—and rebuild their lives. This community-based role involves working directly with individuals facing mental health and/or substance use challenges to help them achieve meaningful employment or educational goals. Using the IPS model, you will build trusting relationships with participants (ages 16+), identify opportunities, and provide job development, placement, and ongoing support. You will connect with local employers, coordinate with mental health providers and support teams, and educate participants on how employment impacts benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Conducting employer outreach (minimum 6 in-person contacts weekly)
• Supporting participants through individualized interventions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field
• Experience with mental health/substance use
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle

Pay

$24+/hour (based on experience & education)
