Pest-End is hiring for a licensed Pest Control Technician in the Newburyport-Haverhill, MA area. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while solving pest-related challenges in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service from the first interaction to the final thank-you.
• Solve pest-related mysteries, from common ant trails to complex termite infestations.
• Work outdoors in various environments, applying pest control treatments with precision.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing Pest-End in the community.
• Operate company vehicle and manage drive time and work time efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and using ladders.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• State pesticide applicator’s license (paid training and certification provided for non-licensed new hires).
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work full-time, with overtime during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• Passion for the outdoors and familiarity with insects, rodents, and pest behavior.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver and operate a ladder.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Pay

$21–$26 per hour.
