Pest-End is hiring for a licensed Pest Control Technician in the Newburyport-Haverhill, MA area. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while solving pest-related challenges in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service from the first interaction to the final thank-you.
- Solve pest-related mysteries, from common ant trails to complex termite infestations.
- Work outdoors in various environments, applying pest control treatments with precision.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing Pest-End in the community.
- Operate company vehicle and manage drive time and work time efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and using ladders.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- State pesticide applicator’s license (paid training and certification provided for non-licensed new hires).
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work full-time, with overtime during busy seasons.
Qualifications
- Passion for the outdoors and familiarity with insects, rodents, and pest behavior.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maneuver and operate a ladder.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Pay
