About the role
Renewal by Andersen is looking for an Install Project Manager to join our Southwest Florida team. The Project Manager will effectively manage window and door replacement projects from technical measures and job specifications through the installation process to ensure homeowner delight, while focusing on meeting or exceeding budget expectations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure the dimensions and determine installation processes for windows and doors.
- Provide installation solutions that match customer expectations, adapt production specifications to installation requirements, and utilize thorough knowledge of Renewal products.
- Confirm details within the sales contract to align customer expectations with product features, options, and the installation process.
- Provide feedback to sales representatives when a job goes on hold and work with them to resolve questions efficiently.
- Determine installation labor duration and materials needed to successfully complete the job.
- Complete and submit required job files that are accurate, correct, and timely, ensuring a quality handoff to internal customers.
- Communicate job specifics to the installation crew, providing advanced notice of unique factors they should be aware of.
- Approve any additional installation labor required to complete the job.
- Troubleshoot issues with the installation crew on the day of installation, which may include onsite support.
- Work directly with homeowners to resolve installation process issues.
- Support sales reps with pre-sale site visits to define project scope and ensure it is reflected in pricing and contract documents.
- Assist installation leadership in recruiting installation sub-contractors.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in home improvement or a closely related field.
- Previous customer service experience, especially in win/win problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and construction techniques.
- Previous experience recruiting independent contractors.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Pay
$69,840.00 - $104,760.00 per year.
