IPK Maintenance I/Custodian

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aid in maintaining cleanliness and safety of District facilities.
• Support maintenance and storage of District property.
• Assist in restocking and expediting materials within facilities.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs.
• Report unauthorized persons and damages to appropriate authorities.
• Comply with District policies and regulations.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls.
• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
• Work in environments with moderate noise levels.
