Responsibilities
- Work on cutting-edge patent prosecution and litigation matters.
- Handle chemistry, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology cases.
- Manage patent portfolios and conduct competitive landscape analyses.
- Perform patentability assessments.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support clients in legal disputes.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- PhD degree in chemistry, with a preference for a PhD in Organic Chemistry.
- 3-5 years of post-JD experience in both patent prosecution and litigation.
- Admission to practice before the USPTO and be licensed to practice law in MA, NY, CA, CO, or DC.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
