$89,443.67-$93,603.60 per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop, direct, and monitor the facility's infection prevention and control program and ensure that the facility is in compliance.
• Make rounds of nursing units and review environmental sanitation procedures.
• Analyze infectious disease lab reports and consult with the Director of Nursing.
• Prepare summaries of all resident/staff infections, corrective actions taken, and results for submission.
• Meet with staff, residents and family members to explain precautions and ensure appropriate hand-hygiene techniques are followed.

Requirements

• Unencumbered LVN/LPN license in the state.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Infection control experience, Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment, Experience with PointClickCare.

Pay

Compensation for roles varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience.
