IP LPN LVN

About the Role

We are looking for an Infection Preventionist (IP LPN/LVN) to develop, direct, and monitor the facility's infection prevention and control program, ensuring compliance with regulations. You will make rounds of nursing units, review environmental sanitation procedures, analyze infectious disease lab reports, and consult with the Director of Nursing. Responsibilities include preparing summaries of all resident/staff infections, corrective actions, and results, as well as meeting with staff, residents, and family members to explain precautions and ensure proper hand-hygiene techniques.

Requirements

• Unencumbered LVN/LPN license in the state
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care

Preferred Qualifications

• Infection control experience
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
• Experience with PointClickCare

Pay

Salary range: $72,000–$83,200 per year
