IP Attorney

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive IP enforcement strategy across domestic and international markets, including matters involving patents, trademarks, and unfair competition.
• Manage enforcement initiatives from initial assessment through resolution, including drafting cease-and-desist letters, coordinating litigation, negotiating settlements, and converting infringers into commercial partners where appropriate.
• Monitor and manage IP infringements across digital and e-commerce platforms.
• Advises senior leadership on intellectual property risks related to business initiatives, partnerships, and market expansion.
• Collaborates with outside counsel globally on patent portfolio management, licensing strategies, and exclusivity considerations.
• Partners with the executive team to manage a global network of external law firms.
• Reviews and refines commercial agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality.
• Provides guidance on corporate governance matters, including maintaining corporate records and filings.
