Iowa | Mental Health Therapist | Telehealth

Affect is expanding its services to include high-quality, accessible mental health treatment. We bring together licensed therapists, innovative technology, and a deeply human approach to help people manage mental health challenges on their terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and collaboratively develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms
• Support Members with a wide range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges
• Work with members with substance use disorders at times
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Career coordination and contribution to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment
• Participation in clinical team meetings and optional case consultations
• Adherence to HIPAA and all applicable state licensure regulations

Requirements

• Active and verifiable license from one of the following Iowa licenses: LISW, LMFT, or LMHC, as well as your state of residence if it is not Iowa
• All credentials must be verified through the State Board's website as part of the application process
• Experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth settings
• Strong communication and clinical skills with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach
• Comfort with EMRs, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with professionalism and integrity
• Have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet

Benefits

• The salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $80,000 and will commensurate with experience and professional license
