About the role

Earl May Garden Centers is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to coordinate the landscape business in the Iowa City, Iowa area. The ideal candidate will provide landscape and maintenance services to both residential and commercial clients, seek out new business opportunities, and offer design services to existing and potential customers. Key responsibilities include managing a team, prioritizing projects, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide landscape and maintenance services to residential and commercial customers
• Seek out new business opportunities and offer design services to existing and potential customers
• Manage a team to ensure timely completion of projects
• Prioritize projects and tasks to meet deadlines
• Work independently and foster a collaborative team environment
• Write clear and concise contracts

Requirements

• Business experience, including nursery sales and/or landscape installation and construction
• Ability to prioritize projects and tasks to ensure deadlines are met
• Strong customer service experience to handle a variety of customers
• Previous management experience
• Strong knowledge of plants
