IOT Platform Engineer (9605-1)

About the role

We are seeking an IoT Platform Engineer with 10+ years of experience, including 7+ years in Network Routing (WAN Technology). Primary skill: Routing and Switching IoT.

Responsibilities

• Develop a lab framework to connect IoT endpoints to campus/branch networks and certify underlying hardware, software features, and endpoint functionality.
• Identify various communication scenarios between end and edge devices.
• Create, execute, and/or oversee testing of data gathering, aggregation, and analytics capabilities.
• Apply deep understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco’s or other vendors’ SD-Access (SDA), 802.1x, NAC (Network Admission Control), and TrustSec functionality.
• Work with Cisco IOS-XE products, Micro/Macro Segmentation configurations, and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for SD-Access management and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, network engineers, and higher management in day-to-day activities.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an IoT Platform Engineer.
• 7+ years of experience in Network Routing (WAN Technology).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-XE, SD-Access (SDA), 802.1x, NAC, and TrustSec.
• Proficiency in Micro/Macro Segmentation and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC).
