iOS Software Engineer

About the Role

An established financial services company is looking for an experienced software engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will be responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support broad business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or breakdown technical problems.
• Creating secure and high-quality production code and maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Implementing comprehensive testing strategies including unit tests, UI tests, and automated test suites to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Leveraging authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables.
• Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.

Requirements

• Formal training on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience in native mobile application development.
• Proficiency in Swift programming language, including modern concurrency patterns like async/await and Combine.
• Strong experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Core Data, and design patterns like MVVM and SOLID.
• Demonstrated expertise in writing unit tests using XCTest and UI tests using XCUITest with a commitment to test-driven development.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, Git source control management, and building reusable SDKs or frameworks.
