iOS Engineer

The position is listed on behalf of a partner company managing all applications and next steps. The partner is seeking an iOS Engineer based in the United States. This is a senior mobile engineering role focusing on building and enhancing a large-scale iOS app used by millions of users. Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create reliable, scalable user experiences.
3. Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, including unit and integration tests.
4. Mentoring and supporting other engineers by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
5. Participating in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience developing iOS applications using Swift.
• Practical experience using SwiftUI in production environments.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, handling JSON data, and working with client-server architectures.
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests using XCTest and a strong quality-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with iOS CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Fastlane.
• Strong knowledge of Git and modern collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English within a distributed team environment.
• Experience working with Objective-C and maintaining or migrating legacy codebases is a plus.
• Experience building high-traffic consumer applications is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SwiftUI at scale, Combine, performance optimization, crash monitoring, or mobile observability is a plus.
• Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience is beneficial.
