iOS Engineer

About the role

We're seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating seamless, secure, and innovative mobile experiences for our Members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality code for the CLEAR Mobile iOS app, focusing on user experience and technological excellence
• Collaborate with product, design, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and drive innovation
• Contribute to the advancement of CLEAR's capabilities across various industries, while gaining hands-on experience in privacy, security, data modeling, and architecture
• Take ownership of your work, influence architectural decisions, and continuously seek ways to improve technology and processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience in Swift
• Familiarity with Agile development environments
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to a culture of learning and growth
• Passion for iOS development and a commitment to championing best practices

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of iOS ecosystem and best practices
• Experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and related frameworks
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and cloud services (AWS)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The total compensation range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000, depending on levels of skills and experience. This includes a combination of base salary and new hire equity package (in Restricted Stock Units).

Schedule

This role is full-time and based in New York City.
