IOS Developer

About the role

The iOS Engineer will be part of a lean, collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality mobile applications to a large student user base. The team maintains multiple apps across Apple and Google app stores, supporting tens of thousands of users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit
• Contribute to the development lifecycle from design through deployment
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Work with backend services for data integration and synchronization
• Support Apple Developer account activities such as provisioning and app submissions
• Auxiliary in performance tuning and troubleshooting issues
• Implement and support push notification functionality
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers
• Maintain monitoring and resolving issues in production applications
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and Agile ceremonies
• Develop within Xcode for development, debugging, and testing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of experience in iOS development
• Strong knowledge of Swift (SwiftUI/UIKit)
• Experience integrating REST APIs
• Understanding of mobile application lifecycle and App Store processes

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of backend technologies (APIs, microservices)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
• Exposure to enterprise application environments
