About the role

IOP Counselor at Behavioral Health Group (BHG) assists patients in achieving social, educational, and occupational goals, providing emotional and physical support. Responsibilities include mobilizing internal efforts, supporting external efforts, developing the IOP program, and delivering evidence-based counseling.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary ambassador for the IOP program, representing its mission and values.
  • Mobilize efforts internally by collaborating with clinical teams, case managers, and support staff.
  • Engage with referral partners, community organizations, and healthcare providers.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the IOP program.
  • Assist with outreach activities and building relationships with referral sources.
  • Provide input and feedback to leadership on strategies for increasing program visibility and effectiveness.
  • Uphold professionalism and represent the program positively in community and professional settings.
  • Ensure prompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner.
  • Inspire hope and provide evidence-based counseling, TCM, and empowering crisis support services.
  • Deliver IOP program curriculum and conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Develop additional clinical program interventions and support patients in identifying and seeking treatment for underlying conditions.
  • Work closely with the recovery care team and clinical supervisor.
  • Ensure patient records are up-to-date, accurate, complete, and organized.
  • Comply with all regulations and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Licensure: MFTC, LPCC, LAC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, LPC
  • Supervision: Ability to provide supervision at no cost upon approval

  • Must be able to work in standard medical office conditions and environments
  • Must have the physical ability to sit, bend, stoop, stretch, and handle variable workloads

Skills

Pay

$35.00 - $40.00/hr + Bonus Structure

Schedule

Minimum of 3 hours per day, 4 days per week
