IOP Clinical Therapist (PT)

The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health connects clients in southeast Florida and beyond to life-changing addiction treatment, offering levels of care including Medical Detox, Inpatient/Residential Rehab, Partial Hospitalization, IOP, and Medication-Assisted Treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy following the program curriculum
• Complete all required documentation (admission documents, biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, session notes, discharge summaries) within specified timeframes to ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and Medical Needs Criteria
• Conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments
• Collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan and coordinate discharge planning
• Maintain communication with families, referral sources, and other service providers
• Perform prior and ongoing outreach to prospective and current patients to ensure program engagement and meet conversion rate expectations
• Use substance abuse and co-occurring therapeutic interventions and de-escalation techniques to assist patients in accomplishing treatment goals
• Assess patients for substance use disorders, risk to self or others, and co-occurring mental health disorders
• Manage aftercare recommendations and support to prepare patients for maintaining successful recovery
• Provide caseload management as per state requirements
• Participate in crisis intervention as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Financial Case Managers, for aftercare planning and securing resources
• Complete documentation daily to meet a 92% compliance completion metric

Requirements

• Master’s degree
• At least two years of clinical experience in the mental health field (additional training may substitute for one year)
• Active Florida state registration as one of the following:
  • LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)
  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
  • LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)
