About the Role

Hartgrove Behavioral Health System is a 160-bed leading psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services for its diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults. As the flagship behavioral health facility within Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), Hartgrove Hospital offers state-of-the-art technologies and programs in the behavioral health field. The hospital emphasizes a teamwork approach, providing a compassionate and therapeutic environment across inpatient, partial, and outpatient services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the Director of PHP/IOP Services.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu.
  • Perform crisis intervention and facilitate group meetings.
  • Coordinate patient transportation and assist with discharge planning.
  • Oversee program implementation, training, and scheduling.
  • Support department recruitment efforts.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required.
  • Experience in a psychiatric setting working with various populations required.
  • CADC certification through IAODAPCA or ICRC.
  • Familiarity with the Illinois Confidentiality Act and Illinois Mental Health Code.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
