Fractional Investor Relations Consultant Key Responsibilities Conduct direct outreach to prospective biotech investors, venture capital firms, and other relevant healthcare investment groupsLeverage existing investor relationships to facilitate introductions and expand the company's investor networkIdentify, research, and prioritize prospective investors based on investment strategy and company fitParticipate in weekly BD and fundraising strategy meetings with executive leadershipPartner closely with the CEO, CFO, CMO, and existing Corporate Development resource on investor engagementSupport development and refinement of the company's investor messaging and positioningAssist with preparation for investor meetings, presentations, and follow-up discussionsParticipate in investor meetings when appropriate and help maintain momentum following initial conversationsProvide leadership with feedback and market intelligence gathered through investor interactionsMaintain an organized pipeline of investor outreach, conversations, and next steps Ideal Background Previous Investor Relations experience within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a closely related life-sciences organizationStrong existing relationships across the biotech/healthcare investment communityExperience interacting directly with institutional investors and/or life-sciences-focused venture capital firmsExperience supporting investor outreach and private-company fundraising effortsHematology/oncology or oncology experience and investor relationships strongly preferredStrong understanding of clinical-stage biotechnology and the ability to communicate scientific, clinical, and business concepts effectivelyComfortable conducting proactive investor outreach and developing new relationshipsAble to operate independently while collaborating closely with senior executivesExperience working within a small or emerging biotechnology company preferredAvailable approximately 10 hours per week with the ability to begin quickly
