Investment Perf & Analytics Analyst (Hybrid)

Non-Registered Fingerprinted role under FINRA guidelines requiring fingerprinting and completion of required forms.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze investment performance data and communicate insights to senior management, field, and home office teams.
  • Assist in performance reporting projects to identify and fix reporting defects.
  • Prioritize performance reporting enhancements based on feedback from multiple sources.
  • Perform data quality checks and resolve errors in data with vendor(s).
  • Produce and validate marketing materials used by the Field to define Advisory models and strategies.
  • Load data to Field analytical tools such as Morningstar and Ycharts to assist in quantitative analysis.
  • Summarize analysis into user-friendly deliverables by translating technical data into business-appropriate communications and recommendations, including process change suggestions.
  • Report analytical results and recommendations in written, verbal, and presentation formats.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, math, statistics, business, or a related field.
  • Understanding of investment accounts, including Brokerage, Advisory, and Direct-to-fund.
  • Knowledge of investment vehicles such as stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, and illiquid alternatives.
  • Familiarity with business processes, including research and data analysis.
  • Understanding of investment performance calculations (IRR, TWR) and performance statistics.
  • Knowledge of portfolio risk exposures and benchmark characteristics.
  • Familiarity with performance attribution methodologies.
  • Expertise in analytical tools such as MS Excel, Business Objects, and PowerBI.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and experience in research, quantitative analysis, and analytical techniques.
  • Strong aptitude and desire to learn new platforms, investment products, strategies, and analytic tools.
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas and recognize the need for new or modified approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information systematically, grasp complexities, and perceive relationships among problems or issues.
  • Initiative to independently prioritize and develop deliverables while collaborating as a team player.
  • Ability to deliver results and recommendations in written, verbal, and presentation formats tailored for a business audience.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels.

Pay

Compensation range: $75,600.00 – $113,400.00. Final salary is based on skills, experience, location, and other factors uncovered during the hiring process. Geographic-specific pay structures may apply for candidates in California, New York City, or other eligible locations.
