Investment Finance AI Model Evaluator
About the role
OpenTrain is the centralized, open platform where AI training and data-labeling freelancers find work, consolidate opportunities across platforms, and build a unified AI training portfolio they control. We make specialized AI training work easier to track, apply for, and grow into a durable freelance career. OpenTrain is recruiting for an Investment Finance AI Model Evaluator to help improve AI systems that reason about valuation, financial modeling, markets, and real-world investment scenarios. You will apply practical expertise from investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or growth equity to assess model outputs, create high-quality prompts and reference answers, and provide domain feedback that strengthens financial reasoning.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated analysis involving valuation, financial modeling, capital markets, and investment decisions.
- Create expert-level prompts and reference answers based on real deal experience and sound financial judgment.
- Identify factual errors, weak reasoning, unsupported conclusions, and unrealistic assumptions in model responses.
- Explain domain feedback clearly so model behavior can improve across realistic investment scenarios.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience at a well-known financial firm or legitimate startup in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or growth equity, with some relevant experience completed within the past seven years.
- Strong written English communication and the ability to explain complex financial reasoning precisely.
- Based in an English‑speaking country (eligibility).
Qualifications
An undergraduate degree from a top‑ranked university is preferred.
Skills
- Experience with financial modeling, valuation, investment analysis, due diligence, capital markets, financial analysis, or Excel will help you evaluate responses with the practical context required for this work.
Benefits
OpenTrain gives freelancers one place to manage AI training opportunities instead of rebuilding proof of work on every platform. A stronger OpenTrain profile helps you show credible experience, discover roles that match your skills, and turn AI training and data‑labeling work into a long‑term portfolio.
