Investment Data Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform daily valuation and validation of securities, including equities, fixed income, structured products, and derivatives.
• Review and challenge pricing from external vendors, applying fair value methodologies in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with technology teams to automate workflows and improve data quality controls.
• Respond to client inquiries to support Allspring’s Institutional clients and Sub advised business.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 3+ years experience in an Investment Operations role, preferably supporting the Valuation function
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Remain in stationary position for prolonged periods of time
• Operate computer programs and software
• Communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats
• Work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with accounting and valuation of various asset classes including structured products and derivatives
• Experience with Accounting and Trading Systems; Advent APX, CRD, Bloomberg
• Proficiency with data management tools and software, Excel, SQL, VBA, etc.
