About the role

The Investment Consultant (IC) role at Schwab offers the opportunity to learn and grow within the Branch Network, providing exposure and experience necessary to advance in financial consulting.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage in outbound calls to existing Schwab clients to uncover opportunities through needs-based analysis.
• Position appropriate products and solutions based on client needs.
• Observe and learn from experienced Financial Consultants (FCs).
• Deliver unparalleled value and service through collaboration and mentoring.

Requirements

• A valid and active Series 7 license (may be obtained under a condition of employment).
• A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license (may be obtained under a condition of employment).
• A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license (may be obtained under a condition of employment).

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Leverage business development experience.
• Gain knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services.
• Build strong client relationships.

Pay

This role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities in addition to a competitive salary range.
