Investment Banking - Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
About the role
PKP Investment Banking is seeking an experienced Managing Director to join our growing M&A advisory practice. This role offers a high degree of autonomy for a senior banker who excels at client development, transaction leadership, and relationship-driven advisory work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Originate and execute sell-side and strategic M&A transactions for privately owned companies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to founders, entrepreneurs, and family-owned businesses
- Lead transaction teams through all phases of the M&A process
- Develop and maintain long-term senior-level client relationships
- Contribute to business development initiatives and firm growth strategies
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week
- 15+ years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on middle market M&A
- Demonstrated success in transaction origination and execution
- Established business community network
- Strong leadership, judgment, and client management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred
- Series 63 and 79 licenses
