Job Summary
Wipfli Corporate Finance Advisors, LLC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its team in the Twin Cities office. WCF offers a full suite of investment banking services tailored for middle-market companies and capital providers with a focus on sell-side M&A transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support investment banking team on the execution of M&A transactions.
- Aid in preparing confidential information memos, pitch materials, and presentations.
- Create and maintain complex financial models for various financial and valuation analyses.
- Mentor junior associates, offering guidance and support in tasks and career goals.
- Play a key role in origination, opportunity evaluation, and deal execution.
- Occasional travel, up to 20%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in investment banking or related field.
- SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses preferred, or must attain within 90 days of hire date required.
- Quantitative and data-based skills, including experience in valuation and financial modeling.
- Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must reside in or around the Twin Cities and be able to commute to the office.
- Able to work a hybrid schedule of at least 4 days in the office.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $88,000-$118,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business-related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Investment Banking Associates at WCF receive a competitive base salary plus a substantial incentive component tied to successful transaction closings. Incentives are paid only when deals close, reinforcing alignment with performance. Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
