Investment Banking Associate Our client, a highly regarded middle-market investment bank, is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its growing team in Tampa, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior bankers and clients across a variety of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements while taking on meaningful responsibility throughout the transaction lifecycle.The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, transaction experience, and a desire to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that provides significant client exposure and career development opportunities. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, strategic advisory, and other corporate finance transactionsDevelop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materialsPrepare pitch books, management presentations, information memoranda, and client-facing deliverablesConduct industry, company, and market research to support transaction execution and business development effortsAssist in due diligence, data room management, and transaction process coordinationParticipate in client meetings, management presentations, and investor discussionsMentor and oversee analysts while collaborating closely with senior investment banking professionals Qualifications 3+ years of investment banking experience, or 2+ years of investment banking experience with completion of an Analyst programStrong financial modeling and valuation capabilities, including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and LBO analysisExperience supporting M&A and capital markets transactionsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Closed transaction experience within middle-market M&AIndustry experience in Healthcare, Industrials, Business Services, Technology, or Consumer coverageCPA, CFA, or MBA credentials are a plus
