Investment Banking Analyst, M&A

We’re looking for someone to join our team and:

  • support the origination and execution of capital markets and M&A transactions involving private equity clients
  • support key workstreams across capital markets and M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, and the preparation of client deliverables
  • contribute innovative ideas and creative strategies to enhance client coverage and drive business growth
  • deliver confident and effective presentations to both internal stakeholders and external clients
  • partner with global colleagues to ensure seamless execution of client transactions
  • exercise sound judgment in all decisions, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and regulatory compliance
  • explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows with sound judgment—validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use

About the team

You’ll be working on the Mergers & Acquisitions team in New York. The M&A team consists of professionals located in Menlo Park, San Francisco, New York, London, Hong Kong, and around the globe. We provide advisory services to private equity clients to facilitate capital markets and M&A transactions involving their portfolio companies or new investments. We advise clients across all industries and geographies.

Requirements

  • Ideally 1+ years of investment banking experience
  • Experience in originating and executing public and private capital markets and M&A transactions
  • Ability to work effectively with private equity clients
  • Strong understanding of leverage finance
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in all relevant financial analyses
  • Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and managing teams
  • Undergraduate degree

Pay

The indicative gross base salary range for this full-time role in New York, New York is USD 110,000 – 125,000 per annum. The expected salary will be determined by relevant factors including role-required experience, qualifications, education, location, and skill level.
