Position Overview
Hilco Corporate Finance (“HCF”) is the investment banking platform of Hilco Global. HCF offers special situation and restructuring, capital advisory, and M&A advisory services to middle market companies. Analysts play a crucial role throughout client engagements, from business development to transaction closure.
Responsibilities
- Prepare transaction-related documentation and marketing materials including confidential information memoranda, pitch books, teasers, and management presentations.
- Manage virtual data rooms and coordinate client and third-party due diligence.
- Perform in-depth company and industry research supporting specific client engagements and marketing opportunities.
- Show superior quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and analysis.
- Demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail.
- Participate in business development training and coaching to position for long-term success.
Qualifications
- At least 6 months of full-time investment banking transactions-related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree with a strong academic track record.
- At least 6 months of full-time transactions-related work experience at an investment banking firm.
- Superior organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated maturity, integrity, and the ability to perform in an entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, research, and financial analysis skills.
- Proficiency with financial research tools and MS Office.
- FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses are required.
- Able to travel as needed.
Pay
Annual base salary gross: $90,000-110,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of Hilco’s salary for this position based on geography. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
Schedule
This is a full-time opportunity based either in our Chicago or New York City office.
