Investment Banking Analyst

About the role

Our client in Tampa is growing, and we're seeking a high-performing Investment Banking Analyst to join their deal team. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on deal experience, direct exposure to senior bankers, and the opportunity to work on M&A and capital raising transactions across healthcare, business services, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Financial modeling - build and maintain detailed operating, valuation, and transaction models
• Deal execution - support live M&A and capital markets processes, including diligence, data analysis, and materials preparation
• Client materials - draft CIMs, management presentations, pitch decks, and industry analyses
• Research & analysis - perform company, industry, and market research to support both active mandates and business development
• Team collaboration - work closely with Associates, VPs, and Directors to ensure high-quality deliverables and smooth process management

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of investment banking, transaction advisory, or corporate finance
• Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• A proactive mindset and desire to grow within a high-performing team
