Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including financial modeling, valuation, and benchmarking, to assess the financial health and viability of distressed companies.
- Perform extensive due diligence on companies and their operations, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare reports for senior management and clients, outlining findings and recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute restructuring transactions, refinancing, asset sales, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Prepare high-quality pitch books, confidential information memoranda, financial models, and other client-facing materials with accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes related to restructuring and distressed situations. Share insights with the team to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with senior bankers to coordinate and execute projects, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 1+ years of investment banking experience in leveraged finance, M&A, restructuring, or related fields, ideally with exposure to distressed situations.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of financial analysis tools and software is a plus. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and valuation methodologies.
- Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Project Management: Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
