Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis on new investment opportunities across the private credit spectrum including direct lending, opportunistic, asset backed etc.
- Support due diligence efforts, including review of diligence materials, legal documentation, financial models, and third-party reports.
- Prepare investment memoranda and materials for Investment Committee review.
- Aid in portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, and ongoing management of existing investment.
- Interface with asset managers, banks, and other counterparties on new investment opportunities and existing portfolio positions.
- Liaise with internal teams, including deal execution, accounting, legal, tax, operations, and risk, as part of the investment process.
- Support portfolio construction efforts, including cash flow projections, sector allocation and risk concentration analysis.
- Support ad hoc projects and broader investment team initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking, alternative investments, private credit, structured credit, or credit research.
- Progress toward CFA designation is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and sound investment judgment.
- Pristine ownership mindset, intellectual curiosity, and strong work ethic.
Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $165,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
