We are a well-capitalized, employee-owned insurance asset manager in West Des Moines seeking an Investment Associate to join our portfolio management team.
About the role
You will support oversight of external fixed income managers, conduct quantitative and qualitative portfolio analysis, maintain surveillance tools and reporting packages, and develop a deep understanding of credit markets within an insurance GA framework. This is an analytical role with real exposure to the investment process.
Requirements
- Experience in fixed income, credit analysis, or insurance asset management
- Bloomberg proficiency
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- NAIC/NRSRO familiarity a plus
- CFA designation or pursuit preferred
- Up to 6 years of experience; new graduates welcome
