Investment Analyst - Parametric

This role follows Parametric’s hybrid working model: three days in the office and two days remote or in-office.
About the role
Support the Investment Strategy team in the management, analysis, and client servicing of equity options and derivatives strategies. Responsibilities include preparing portfolio and market analysis, supporting client communications, and assisting with the development of strategy-related materials and reporting. The role works closely with investment strategists, portfolio managers, and internal partners to support the growth and retention of client assets.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Investment Strategy team with day-to-day client servicing responsibilities, including responding to product- and account-specific inquiries and coordinating requests for strategy information from clients, Financial Advisors, and internal partners.
- Assist with the analysis of portfolio exposures, options positions, strategy performance, market developments, and volatility trends across client accounts and strategies.
- Gather and analyze data used to prepare investment commentary, strategy updates, client communications, presentations, reports, and marketing collateral.
- Manage multiple group inboxes, ensuring requests are prioritized, addressed in a timely manner, and routed to appropriate team members when necessary.
- Collaborate with strategists, portfolio managers/traders, technology, operations, distribution, and other internal teams to support client needs and continuously improve processes and client service.
- Assist with account reconciliation processes to ensure options trades and strategy activity are accurately reflected in client accounts.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field preferred).
- 1+ years of relevant experience in financial services (wealth management, asset management, Financial Advisor support, family offices, or related areas preferred).
- Knowledge of options and derivatives strategies preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills with a high attention to detail.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to learn additional software platforms.
- Interest in exploring and responsibly leveraging artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies to improve efficiency, analysis, communication, and team workflows.
- Familiarity using Bloomberg Terminal preferred.

Pay
Salary range: $70,000 – $140,000 per year.
