About the role
The ideal candidate will join a small, highly regarded team of senior investment professionals managing a distressed credit fund with over $3.5 billion in assets under management. The fund specializes in various strategies such as cross capital structure, public credit, mispriced stressed credits, idiosyncratic situations, misunderstood performing credits, litigation and process-driven distressed, restructurings, and equity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and modeling
- Read and understand complex financial statements and market conditions
- Show exceptional critical thinking and intellectual curiosity
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 8-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in public distressed or special situations investing
- Outstanding modeling and financial analysis skills
- Excellent critical reading and comprehension abilities
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher

- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
- Base Salary: $250,000+
