Summary Of Responsibilities
- Performs investigations.
- Schedules and interviews parties and witnesses.
- Requests and obtains evidence.
- Drafts and shares reports and evidence with parties.
- Collaborates with leadership and the OGC to draft and finalize formal reports.
- Liaison for intake, response, and administration of incoming questions, concerns, reports, complaints, and communications.
- Coordinates with appropriate university parties to arrange supportive measures.
- Serves as the Hearing Coordinator to communicate, administer, and schedule review hearings.
- Provides cross-functional support for other positions in the Equity and Title IX Office.
- Supervises part-time employees in the Equity & Title IX Office.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, counseling, or related field, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, experience in human resources, employment law, employee relations, EEO, AA, Title IX, Clery, SaVE, VAWA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title II of the ADA, and other similar EEO laws, academic setting experience with employee relations, student conduct, or Title IX, conflict resolution or mediation, and training experience with large groups.
- Prefer SHRM SCP, SHRM CP, PHR, SPHR, ATIXA Certification, or related.
