Investigator - AML I

Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Investigator - AML I to join a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. This is a 3-month contract role located in Mount Laurel, NJ, with potential to extend and convert. The position is remote with business hours Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition customer screening (FCRM Watchlist) alerts and cases in accordance with established procedures and time frames.
• Conduct research and analysis using internal and external sources to determine whether a customer is a true match or false positive against the FCRM Watchlist.
• Document findings and maintain accurate case records.
• Prepare and file Unusual Transaction Referrals (UTRs) as appropriate.
• Support FCRM Watchlist maintenance activities and data clean-up initiatives.
• Assist with remediation efforts, backlog reduction, and other risk management projects.
• Adhere to established productivity, quality, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years in CDD and EDD experience.
• Strong analytical, investigation, research, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in one or more of the following: AML, Sanctions, Customer Screening, Watchlist Screening, Investigations, or Financial Crime Operations.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (MS-Word, SharePoint, Teams).
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Open and receptive to feedback; adaptable and flexible.

Pay

$18.09 per hour

Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
